Laura Wetherly battles with cerebral palsy and is thrilled to have achieved three A*s in English literature, government and politics, and history.
Cerebral palsy is brain damage which affects the part of the brain which controls movement. It affects Laura’s coordination and balance, making walking a long distance difficult. To add her to her problems this year Laura suffered a severe bout of tonsillitis during her A Level exams. She has accepted a place at King’s College, Cambridge to study politics, psychology and sociology.
