Monday 28 November 2016 The GSAL Nine Lessons and Carols is one of the highlights of the school’s musical calendar and this year’s event will be held in the Assembly Hall in Senior School on Sunday 11 December at 18:30. As is the custom, the Senior School choir will be joined by alumni, staff and parents to lead the singing. This year’s event will also be special as it is the last to be conducted by director of instrumental studies, Andrew Wheeler, who retires at the end of the academic year. For those wishing to sing, the rehearsal schedule is Friday 9 December at 13:30 in the Tebb Room; Saturday 10 December from 10:00 to 15:00 in the Music School; and Sunday 11 December from 14:00 to 17:00 in the Assembly Hall.
