Brief synopsis of workshop :

We will discuss the official definition of inclusion, the practicalities behind operating an inclusive education environment. We will also explore some typical pitfalls of operating inclusively, some common misconceptions and some easy wins which could be activated in your school from Monday morning.

This will be a forum of discussion – we want to hear about your experiences, your challenges and your achievements regarding inclusion and inclusive practice.

The session will focus on engaging students through alternative provision, personalised pathways within school, support in mainstream education, engagement of families and how to support and empower staff within your organisation.
