STEM Day 2010

STEM - Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics

Following last year’s inaugural GSAL STEM Day interested year 8 students are invited to apply for places to take part in this year’s event on 22^nd June. Letters and application forms are available from Mr Rogerson who will also be speaking to all of Year 8 in assembly on Thursday 17^th June.

Session 1 Natural Disaster – Earthquake
Session 2 Building a Bridge
Session 3 Aeroplane construction challenge

We will have guest students from four local schools taking part, and all sessions take place in normal lesson times. The event was greatly enjoyed by the students who took part last year.
