Why study Latin?
Latin offers a unique combination of analytical challenge and study of literature and society. Whilst delving into the world of the ancient Romans and to some extent the ancient Greeks and seeing their legacy on the western world. Transferable skills such as literary criticism, problem-solving and historical evaluation area all improved from the solid ground laid at GCSE.
