Leeds Luminaries Awards 2018

In our 10th birthday year The Grammar School at Leeds are proud to launch the Leeds Luminaries Awards to honour high-achieving alumni of Leeds Grammar School, Leeds Girls’ High School and The Grammar School at Leeds.

We will be recognising alumni whose achievements in their chosen field inspire others to succeed and whose personal successes embody the school’s core values of excellence, inspiration and citizenship.

Thank you to our alumni and staff for submitting nominations.  The closing date for nominations has now passed and nominees will be shortlisted to three in each category by a shortlisting committee.  Alumni and other members of the school community will then be invited to vote from the shortlist of nominees in each category.  The categories are science and medicine (including technology, engineering and maths); arts and humanities; business and enterprise; sport; charity and community; rising star (under 30) and lifetime achievement. The Lifetime Achievement Award can be awarded to alumni and or people with a close link to The Grammar School at Leeds or one of its founding schools.

Nominations have now closed.

Voting will open on Thursday 22 February 2018.  You will be able to vote online, by post or in person at one of our birthday events.

If you have any questions regarding the awards please contact alumni@gsal.org.uk
