Parents are invited to attend our house drama performances on the evening of Thursday 11 October.
Students in each of the eight houses and representing all year groups have been busy writing, rehearsing and polishing their 15 minute plays. The theme this year is ‘LOCATION’; each house has been given a different venue to set their piece. They are competing to win the coveted Jack Williams Award for House Drama. Other than that the only limit to their piece is their creativity! They must seek to entertain and impress our adjudicators in order to triumph. Other awards are available for Best Dramatic Performace, Best Playwright, Best Tech Team and Best Director.
Seating is limited for this popular event so please book tickets below if you like to attend.
House Drama – Part 2 will feature drama performances from Lawson, Lupton, Ermystead and Eddison houses only at 19:45, with doors opening at 19:30. The four other houses are performing in Part 1, which starts at 18:30.
Admission is free although booking is essential and is on a first come, first serve basis. Bookings are open until 09:00, Wednesday 10 October or earlier if we sell out.
There will be a live feed into the Theatre Foyer for those without tickets to keep on top of the action. Refreshments will be available from 19:15 in the Theatre Foyer.
Any remaining tickets will be available on the door on a first come first served basis. If you don’t have a ticket please arrive by 18:15 for Part 1 or by 19:30 for Part 2.
