OGC Virtual Autumn Meeting – Drawing and Drawn by Nature

We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Carla Moss (OG92) to this virtual OGC meeting.  Carla is an artist whose artworks reflect our relationship with the environment and with time and place.  Her talk is titled Drawing and Drawn by Nature.

Drawing in the art sense is about mark making. There is much discussion in the art world about where drawing starts and stops. Including the surface on which a ‘drawing’ is placed and the material used to create it.  Carla will be sharing some of her drawings with us – including ones using paint, using pencil, using twigs… drawing is a foundational part of her work both for exploring new ideas as well as an end in itself.

This event will be on Zoom and we will share the link with those who have registered a few days before the event.  The event starts at 1.30pm. After the talk there will be an opportunity for a discussion to meet and chat with the other attendees.
