Four resourceful GSAL students have raised £150 for the school’s Malawi projects …by providing donuts for hungry concertgoers!
The L6 students, who are all heading for Malawi this summer as part of the school’s bi-annual visit, bought 240 Krispy Kreme donuts to sell on the night of the House choir event.
Emma Anderson, Jordan Bickerdyke, Katie Pipe and Sophie Stone sold the cakes either singly or by the dozen. The money raised will feed 25 orphans.
Katie (pictured) said: “Everyone should do what they can to help the children in Malawi and we were happy to raise this money for them. We can’t wait to go there in the summer to make a difference in person.”
