Thursday 29 September 2011 Espionage was on the timetable at The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) when celebrated American author Ally Carter visited the school. Ally, who wrote The Gallagher Girls and Heist Society series of books about a school for genius girls who train as spies, spent a morning at GSAL as part of her UK tour. She gave talks to girls from years 7 and 8 about her inspiration for the stories and also took time out of her busy schedule to sign copies of her books in the school library.
